Instructions

  1. Prepare the Sweet Potatoes

    Peel and chop the sweet potatoes into chunks. Boil in a large pot of water until tender, about 15–20 minutes. Drain and mash until smooth.

  2. Mix the Ingredients

    In a large bowl, combine the mashed sweet potatoes, brown sugar, granulated sugar, milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Stir until smooth. Add cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt, mixing well. Fold in raisins or pecans if desired.
