Tipping is customary in Malta. In restaurants, 5–10% is typical if a service charge is not included. Small tips are also appreciated by hotel staff, taxi drivers, and tour guides.

Business hours

Offices typically operate Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Shops may open Monday to Saturday, with some businesses open on Sundays in tourist areas.
