- 1–2 green peppers, chopped
- 1 teaspoon paprika or chili flakes (optional)
- Salt to taste

Instructions
-
Prepare the Yogurt Sauce
In a bowl, dissolve the qurut in water to make a smooth, slightly thick sauce. If using plain yogurt, mix with a little water and salt to taste.
-
Cook the Onions
Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add sliced onions and sauté until golden brown and soft.
-
Assemble the Qurutob
Place the torn flatbread pieces in a large serving dish. Pour the yogurt or qurut sauce evenly over the bread, making sure all pieces are soaked but still slightly firm.
-
Add Vegetables
Top with sautéed onions and scatter chopped tomatoes, cucumber, and green peppers over the dish. Sprinkle paprika or chili flakes if desired.
-
Garnish and Serve
Garnish with fresh herbs for color and freshness. Serve Qurutob immediately, allowing each person to mix the bread and sauce as they eat.
