Ingredients:
2 lbs (0.9 kg) Beef Shank, bone-in
3 tbsp Ghee
2 large Onions, thinly sliced
2 tbsp Ginger-Garlic Paste
2 tbsp Nihari Masala
1/4 cup Wheat Flour
1/4 cup Gram Flour
1 tsp Turmeric Powder
1 tsp Red Chili Powder
1/2 tsp Garam Masala
Salt to taste
Fresh Coriander and Ginger for garnish
Sliced Green Chilies for serving
Lemon wedges for garnish
Instructions:
Heat ghee in a heavy-bottomed pot and sauté sliced onions until golden brown. Add beef shank and ginger-garlic paste, cook until meat is browned. Mix Nihari masala, wheat flour, gram flour, turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, and salt in a bowl. Add to the pot and stir well. Add enough water to cover the meat and bring to a boil. Simmer on low heat for 4-6 hours until meat is tender and the broth thickens. Garnish with fresh coriander and ginger.
