Ingredients
- 1 lb (450 g) ground beef
- 1 lb (450 g) ground lamb
- 1 small onion, finely grated
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
- 1/4 cup cold water
- Vegetable oil, for brushing

In a large bowl, combine ground beef and ground lamb.
Add grated onion, minced garlic, baking soda, salt, black pepper, paprika, and cayenne if using. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
Gradually add cold water while mixing to achieve a slightly sticky consistency.

With wet hands, take small portions of the meat mixture and shape them into finger-length sausages, about 3–4 inches long and 1 inch thick.
Place the formed Kebapi on a tray lined with parchment paper. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to firm up.
