Ingredients

  • 2 cups chicken broth or water
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Base

    Heat vegetable oil in a large pot over medium heat. Sauté the chopped onion until golden and fragrant. Add turmeric and cinnamon, stirring to release their aroma.

  2. Cook the Chicken

    Season the chicken pieces with salt and pepper. Add them to the pot and brown lightly on all sides.

  3. Prepare the Walnut-Pomegranate Sauce

    In a bowl, combine ground walnuts with pomegranate molasses. Gradually stir in chicken broth to create a smooth mixture. Pour the sauce over the browned chicken.
