- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup butter, cold and cubed

- 6 slices bacon, chopped
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 egg (for egg wash)

Prepare the Dough
In a large bowl, combine flour and salt. Cut in cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in sour cream and 1 egg until a soft dough forms. Knead gently, then wrap in plastic and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

In a skillet over medium heat, cook chopped bacon until slightly crisp. Add chopped onion and sauté until soft. Remove from heat and let the mixture cool.

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface to about 1/8 inch thick. Cut dough into rectangles or circles (approx. 3 inches wide). Place a spoonful of the bacon-onion filling in the center of each piece. Fold over and pinch edges to seal.
