Aseed

Discover the wholesome and nourishing qualities of Aseed, a simple yet flavorful dish that combines seeds and grains into a versatile meal. Perfect as a breakfast, snack, or addition to salads, Aseed brings a natural crunch and a boost of nutrition to your table.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup mixed seeds (sunflower, pumpkin, sesame, flax)
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Seed Mixture

In a large bowl, combine the mixed seeds and rolled oats. Stir in cinnamon and salt until evenly distributed.

  2. Mix Wet Ingredients

In a small saucepan, gently warm honey or maple syrup with coconut oil over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.

  3. Combine and Coat

Pour the warm mixture over the seeds and oats, stirring well to ensure everything is evenly coated.

  4. Bake or Toast

Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C). Spread the mixture in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 15–20 minutes, stirring halfway through, until golden and fragrant. Allow to cool completely; the mixture will crisp up as it cools.

  5. Serve

Enjoy Aseed as a crunchy topping for yogurt, oatmeal, or smoothie bowls. It can also be eaten on its own as a healthy snack.

Serving

Pair Aseed with fresh fruits, nuts, or a drizzle of yogurt for added flavor and texture. Store in an airtight container to maintain freshness and crunch.
