Ingredients
- 400g spaghetti or pasta of your choice
- 500 g beef or lamb, cut into small cubes (or ground meat)
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 medium tomatoes, chopped
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
- 2 cups water or beef broth
- 1 small chili (optional, for heat)
- Fresh cilantro or parsley, for garnish

Prepare the Meat Sauce
Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or saucepan over medium heat. Add chopped onions and sauté until soft and translucent. Stir in garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant. Add the meat cubes and cook until browned on all sides.

Mix in cumin, coriander, turmeric, cinnamon, black pepper, and salt. Stir in chopped tomatoes, tomato paste, and chili if using. Cook for 5 minutes until the tomatoes soften. Pour in water or beef broth, bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 20–30 minutes, or until the meat is tender and the sauce thickens.
