¼ teaspoon salt

1 cup (200 g) powdered sugar

3 tablespoons (45 ml) water

Instructions:

Step 1: Prepare the Dough In a saucepan over low heat, warm the honey, sugar, and milk, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and let cool slightly. In a large bowl, mix flour, baking soda, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, and salt. Add the honey mixture and egg to the dry ingredients. Stir until a dough forms. Knead the dough for about 5 minutes until smooth. Cover and let it rest for 30 minutes.

Step 2: Shape the Pryaniki Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Roll out the dough to about ½ inch (1.3 cm) thickness. Cut into rounds or shapes using a cookie cutter. Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet, leaving space between each cookie.

Step 3: Bake the Pryaniki Bake for 12–15 minutes until golden brown but still soft. Let the cookies cool on a wire rack.

Step 4: Prepare the Glaze Mix powdered sugar and water until smooth. Brush the cooled cookies with the glaze and let them dry.
