- 1 teaspoon ground chili pepper (optional, for heat)
- 2 stock cubes (bouillon)
- Salt to taste
- 3 cups (0.7 liter) water

In a pot, boil the beef or lamb with half of the chopped onions, stock cubes, and a pinch of salt. Simmer until the meat is tender. Reserve the stock for later use.
