1/4 cup of raisins

2 slices of bread, soaked in 1/2 cup of milk

2 eggs

1/2 cup of milk

Bay leaves

Salt and pepper to taste

Preparing Bobotie:

Start by sautéing 2 finely chopped onions and 3 minced garlic cloves in a bit of cooking oil until they become soft and translucent.

Add 1 pound of ground meat (beef or lamb) to the pan and cook until it's browned.
