- 1/2 cup (75g) dried apricots or prunes
- 1/4 cup (40g) almonds (optional)
- 1/2 cup (120ml) chicken or vegetable broth

- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper

In a tajine pot or heavy-bottomed pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onions and garlic, cooking until fragrant.

Add lamb or chicken and cook until browned on all sides.
