Bowing is a traditional form of greeting. Handshakes may be used in international contexts. Public behaviour is generally quiet and respectful; avoid loud conversations in public places.

Offices typically operate Monday to Friday, from around 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Shops and restaurants often open daily, including weekends, with extended hours in urban areas.
