1 small onion (0.2 lb / 100 g), finely chopped

½ teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon ground black pepper

For Frying:

½ cup (120 ml) vegetable oil

Instructions:

Step 1: Prepare the Pancake Mixture Grate the potatoes using the fine side of a grater or food processor. Place the grated potatoes in a clean towel and squeeze out excess liquid. In a large bowl, combine the grated potatoes, grated onion, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix until well blended.

Step 2: Prepare the Filling In a separate bowl, mix the ground meat with the finely chopped onion, salt, and pepper. Ensure the filling is evenly seasoned.

Step 3: Assemble the Kolduny Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Take a small scoop of the potato mixture and flatten it into a thin pancake in the skillet.
