2 tbsp (30 ml) soy sauce
1 tbsp (15 ml) black vinegar
1 tbsp (15 ml) sugar
1 tbsp (15 ml) water
1 tsp (5 ml) sesame oil
Other Ingredients
2 tbsp (30 ml) vegetable oil
8-10 dried red chilies (adjust for spice)
1 tsp (5 g) Sichuan peppercorns
2 cloves garlic, minced
1-inch (2.5 cm) ginger, minced
2 green onions, chopped
0.5 cup (75 g) roasted peanuts
Instructions
Marinate the Chicken In a bowl, mix soy sauce, Shaoxing wine, and cornstarch. Add diced chicken and let marinate for 10-15 minutes to enhance the flavor and texture.
Prepare the Sauce In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, black vinegar, sugar, water, and sesame oil. Stir until sugar dissolves and set aside.
Cook the Dish
