Brigadeiro, a beloved Brazilian treat, is a chocolate truffle-like dessert that's irresistibly rich, fudgy, and easy to make. These bite-sized delights are perfect for parties, celebrations, or whenever you crave something sweet. With just a few simple ingredients, you can create a taste of Brazil at home.

Ingredients:

For Brigadeiro (Makes ~20 pieces):

1 can (14 oz / 395 g) sweetened condensed milk

3 tablespoons (0.2 lb / 30 g) unsweetened cocoa powder

2 tablespoons (0.1 lb / 30 g) unsalted butter

1 cup (0.5 lb / 120 g) chocolate sprinkles (for rolling)

Instructions:

Prepare the Mixture: In a medium saucepan, combine sweetened condensed milk, cocoa powder, and butter. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, to avoid burning.

Cook to Fudgy Perfection: Continue stirring for about 10–15 minutes until the mixture thickens and pulls away from the sides of the pan. It should have a fudge-like consistency.

Cool the Mixture: Remove the pan from heat and transfer the mixture to a greased plate or bowl. Let it cool completely at room temperature or chill in the refrigerator for faster cooling.

Shape the Brigadeiros: Grease your hands with a small amount of butter. Roll small portions of the cooled mixture into balls, about 1 inch (2.5 cm) in diameter.

Coat with Sprinkles: Roll each ball in chocolate sprinkles, ensuring they are evenly coated.

Serving: Serve Brigadeiros at room temperature on small decorative paper cups or plates. They’re perfect for birthdays, holidays, or as a quick dessert for any occasion.
