Instructions:

In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour and salt. Cut in the softened butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Add the yeast mixture, sour cream, and beaten egg to the flour mixture. Stir until a dough forms. Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead for about 5-7 minutes, or until smooth and elastic. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a clean kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size. While the dough is rising, prepare the filling.
