Ingredients:

1 lb (0.45 kg) Ground Chicken or Pork

2 cups (300g) All-Purpose Flour

1 Onion, finely chopped

2 Garlic Cloves, minced

1/2 cup Cabbage, finely shredded

1/4 cup Spring Onions, chopped

1 tsp Ginger, grated

1 tsp Soy Sauce

1 tsp Sesame Oil

Salt and Pepper to taste

Water for dough

Dipping Sauce (Soy Sauce, Vinegar, Chili Flakes)

Instructions:

Prepare the Filling:

In a bowl, mix ground chicken or pork with chopped onion, minced garlic, shredded cabbage, spring onions, grated ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Set aside.

Make the Dough:

In another bowl, gradually add water to the all-purpose flour, kneading until it forms a smooth, elastic dough. Let it rest for 30 minutes.

Shape the Momos:

Roll the dough into small circles. Place a spoonful of filling in the center of each circle. Fold and pleat the edges, sealing the momos into crescent shapes.

Steam the Momos:

Arrange momos in a steamer and steam for about 15-20 minutes, or until the dough is cooked and the filling is tender.

Serving:

Serve momos hot, accompanied by a dipping sauce made with soy sauce, vinegar, and chili flakes. Enjoy the burst of flavors in every bite!

Momo, a Nepali delicacy, combines succulent fillings with a soft dough exterior, creating a taste sensation that reflects the heart of Nepal's street food culture.
