Ingredients:

1 lb (0.45 kg) Lamb, cubed

2 Onions, finely chopped

3 Tomatoes, pureed

4 Garlic Cloves, minced

1 tsp Ginger, grated

2 Green Chilies, finely chopped

1/4 cup Cooking Oil

1 tsp Cumin Powder

1 tsp Coriander Powder

1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder

1 tsp Garam Masala

Salt and Pepper to taste

Fresh Coriander (Cilantro) for garnish

Instructions:

Marinate the Lamb:

In a bowl, marinate lamb cubes with cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, grated ginger, minced garlic, chopped green chilies, salt, and pepper. Let it sit for at least 30 minutes.

Cooking Process:

Heat cooking oil in a pan. Add finely chopped onions and sauté until golden brown. Add the marinated lamb and cook until it's browned on all sides. Pour in tomato puree and cook until the oil separates from the masala. Sprinkle garam masala and adjust salt and pepper according to taste.

Garnish and Serve:

Garnish with fresh coriander (cilantro) before serving.

Serving:

Serve Gorkhali Lamb hot, paired with steamed rice or traditional Nepali bread like roti or naan.
