1 green bell pepper, diced

1 red bell pepper, diced

2 green chilies (optional, for heat)

Preparing Somali Pasta (Baasto):

Begin by cooking the 12 ounces of pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

In a large pan, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Add the finely chopped onions and minced garlic. Sauté until they become soft and translucent.
